Our Programs
Our Gardens
We have 5 garden sites located around Ishpeming. All of these garden sites contribute to our mission of connecting our community with their food and one another.
Our Farm
Our Intergenerational Farm is located on the site of the old Bell Hospital in downtown Ishpeming. It is a 3.5 acre farm in which produce will go to the community and the Ishpeming School district to be used in the cafeteria.
Education Programs
We have a range of programs focused around teaching our community skills related to health and wellbeing. Our Farm to School program and Workshops welcome the community to connect with food and one another!
Workshops
Our Workshops take place during the colder months and our Skillshare takes place outdoors in the summer. Both are focused on teaching health and wellness skills.
Farm to School
Our Farm to School program works with Ishpeming Middle Schoolers. During the growing season they learn in their School Garden. During the winter they cook healthy recipes during Healthy Cooking.
Intergenerational Farm
We broke ground on the farm in 2021 and our first growing season is the 2024 season!
