We are pleased to invite our community to a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in celebration of the new Ishpeming Public School District Career Technical Education greenhouse. In addition to the ceremony all attendees are welcome to stay and participate in an Earth Day activity: the inaugural planting of the School Greenhouse with our students.

Workshop 2 will detail garden planning for our growing zone, focusing on sustainable, budget-friendly, and DIY methods of gardening.

Community members are welcome to join join the 2026 Queen City Seed Library Seed Swap at the Peter White Public Library! The Seed Swap will include demonstration tables with information about gardening and seed saving. Learn more!

Our first workshop in the series will feature a (FREE!) seed swap and giveaway, and a tutorial of various ways to start your seeds at home.
