Volunteer With Us!
Adults are welcome to roll up their sleeves and help out at the Community Farm this growing season! While we typically welcome children of all ages at our events, this particular volunteer day is best suited for individuals 16 and older. *REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED (register below)
Volunteer Activities Include But Are Not Limited To: Weeding, painting, and general farm maintenance! We will meet in the hoophouse at the Farm to go over activities for the day.
Dates & Time: 2PM-4PM | Weekly on Thursdays August 7th-October *end date tbd
Location: Partridge Creek Community Farm | 550 Cleveland Ave Ishpeming MI
Please park on Cleveland Ave or the gravel parking area- look for our parking signs! Do not park in the Jasperlite Apartments parking lot .Thank you for your cooperation!
What to Expect & Bring: These volunteer activities will take place outdoors. We have gravel pathways but there is uneven ground on the site, so be aware. We have a variety of tasks for all skill levels!
Wear/Bring sunscreen and a sun hat
Water Bottle
Wear closed toe shoes
Dress for the weather (rain coat, sun shirt)
Bring a friend!
Registration is required for volunteer days so our growing team can know how many people to expect! If you’d like to bring a friend that is perfectly fine! They can sign-in upon arrival.
