Youth Programming
Partridge Creek Farm is committed to expanding its educational programming into Marquette County to reach a broader range of youth.
Our goal is to offer engaging learning experiences and healthy cooking opportunities, enriching the lives of more young people in the region. By expanding our initiatives, we aim to provide additional educational resources, foster a deeper understanding of sustainable food practices, and promote nutritious eating habits among even more youth in our county.

Partridge Creek Farm is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the Superior Health Foundation Grant to launch a comprehensive Farm to School Summer Camp in 2025. This grant will enable Marquette County youth to enjoy three weeks of outdoor learning next summer, from June through August. Participants can choose to attend one week or all three.
In collaboration with MARESA (Marquette Alger-RESA), we will offer a range of hands-on activities in the Middle School Garden, creating a condensed version of our Farm to School programming. The grant will also provide essential materials, including Epipens for safety and farm and garden tools to enrich the learning experience.
Sign-up for our email list to be alerted about this opportunity!

Power Of Produce | Marquette Farmers Market
The Power of Produce (POP) Program is a farmers market-based children's program, that seeks to teach children about fruits and vegetables, local food systems, and healthy food preparation through fun activities. Our POP program is led by Partridge Creek Farm staff and hosted at the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market.
Participants engage in the full farmers market experience by trying new foods, having conversations with farmers, and buying local produce. Fun weekly activities ranging from cooking demonstrations to farmers market scavenger hunts provide nutrition, food, agriculture, and exercise education to the children and families that participate each week. Homeschool Hangout | Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library
The Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library puts on Homeschool Hangout events where they invite homeschool students and families to come together and learn from one another. This program is a wonderful time for homeschool families and students to connect.
Partridge Creek Farm has led a few homeschool hangout events hoping to build community connections and provide education opportunities for all youth in our community.
