Middle Schoolers Welcome to Join The Ishpeming Middle School Garden Club

All Middle Schoolers in Marquette County are welcome to join the Ishpeming Garden Club! This club will work with Partridge Creek Farm’s Education Coordinator Keats Dormont to help learn how to upkeep a garden and grow food!

Important Information

Who Can Join: Middle School Students ages 10-14

How to Join: No registration is required. IF this is a students first time participating, a parent/guardian should arrive 5 min. early to sign a photo release and liability form.

FAQS

Q: What if the weather is bad?

• A: Garden Club will happen rain or shine!

  IF There Is Severe Weather:
  If there’s visible lightning within the last half hour we will cancel Garden Club. In other severe weather cases of heavy rain, snow, or wind, Garden Club will be cancelled for the day.

Q: What should my student wear and bring?

• A: Students should prepare for the weather. If it is warm they should wear breathable clothing, sunscreen, a sun hat, and sunglasses. If it is cold or rainy they should wear appropriate gear for the weather. Please wear close toed shoes.

• A: Students should bring a water bottle, a snack if they’d like, and sunscreen. If it is cold they should bring extra layers.
