Ishpeming Middle School Garden Volunteer Day
Help maintain the Ishpeming Middle School Garden and build FREE Grazing Beds. Thanks to our community’s incredible support this past Giving Tuesday, we raised $8,645, enough to purchase 8 new FREE Community Grazing Beds and do some needed garden maintenance to the site.
Adults of all skill levels are welcome to roll up their sleeves and help out! Youth under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. The planned activities will involve independently led tasks that require following specific instructions and may not be appropriate for younger children.
Important Information:
Date: Saturday June 20th
Time: 10am-4pm volunteers are welcome to come and go as they please.
Partridge Creek Farm will provide water and snacks. Please bring your own sack lunch and a water bottle if you are planning to stay the entire day.
Location: Ishpeming Middle School Garden | 402 Cleveland Ave Ishpeming MI
Please park on the street, there is no parking lot near this site. Be mindful of residents when choosing a parking spot as this site is located in a residential neighborhood.
Additional Information: Be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing, including gloves and a sunhat. Make sure to check the weather prior to the event. In the case of poor weather we will send out an email alerting everyone of a cancellation and will provide a make up date.

This site does not have a restroom. Our office is located a short distance from the site and will be accessible for our volunteers to utilize.
