In the article titled “Growing Healthy Habits: Partridge Creek Farm’s Farm-to-School Summer Camps,” the Superior Health Foundation highlights Partridge Creek Farm’s 2025 Farm-to-School Summer Camp program for Marquette County youth. Last summer, the program ran for three weeks, reached more than 20 young people across Marquette County, and offered hands-on outdoor educational activities rooted in gardening, nutrition, and environmental stewardship.

As noted by the Superior Health Foundation, “Funding from SHF helped Partridge Creek Farm cover essential infrastructure for the outdoor program, daily healthy meals for participants, and educational resources for families to take home, extending the learning beyond camp and into households across the county.” The support of the Superior Health Foundation enabled Partridge Creek Farm to strengthen both the camp experience and its broader impact by ensuring participants had nutritious meals during programming and families received materials to reinforce healthy habits at home.

Partridge Creek Farm views the Farm-to-School Summer Camps as an investment in community health and youth development. The program’s combination of experiential outdoor learning, farm-based nutrition education, and family-focused resources aims to cultivate lasting healthy habits and a deeper connection between youth and the local food system.
