PCF’s Farm Manager Receives the 2026 AgeAlive Award

Partridge Creek Farm is proud to announce that our Farm Manager, Allison Stawara, received the Intergenerational AgeAlive Award from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, on March 26th. The presentation took place remotely at the Ishpeming Senior Center.
The AgeAlive Award recognizes individuals who have made a positive impact supporting people and communities as we age. Allison was nominated anonymously and honored for her outstanding work as an MSU alumni and for her dedication to engaging community members of all ages through the programs and outreach at Partridge Creek Community Farm.
PCF is congratulating Allison for this well-deserved recognition and for her continued commitment to fostering intergenerational connections and promoting well-being in our community.

Who We Serve
Partridge Creek Farm impacts our community through reducing food insecurity and providing intergenerational learning opportunities around sustainable food systems through hands-on education.
18.7% of the Ishpeming population is facing poverty and food insecurity without access to a sufficient quantity of affordable, nutritious food.
21.2% of the Ishpeming population is 65+.
80% of our youth receive free/reduced lunch and qualify for the free breakfast program, meaning they rely on food at school.

The Community Farm
The Partridge Creek Community Farm is located in downtown Ishpeming, directly behind the Jasperlite Senior Center and one block from Ishpeming Middle & High School. Its central location fosters intergenerational engagement from the Jasperlite Senior Garden to free tours and Skill Shares that bring all ages together.
