Partridge Creek Farm Announces Exciting Summer Events

Partridge Creek Farm (PCF) is thrilled to announce a variety of exciting community events for the summer season. PCF invites community members of all ages to participate, learn, and connect with local agriculture. From Volunteer Days to Farm Stand openings and engaging Skill Shares, there's something for all ages this summer! Join Partridge Creek Farm at the Intergenerational Farm for its inaugural growing season, PCF invites everyone to come to the farm site and see the progress. All activities will be taking place at the Partridge Creek Intergenerational farm located at 550 Cleveland Ave. in Ishpeming, MI.

All ages are welcome to join a PCF event this summer!

West End Farm Stand: Wednesdays, June 26th-October, 4:30pm-6pm 

The Partridge Creek West End Farm Stand will be open every Wednesday starting on June 26th, from 4:30pm to 6pm. Come to the Partridge Creek Intergenerational Farm to stock up on fresh, seasonal produce grown right in downtown Ishpeming.

Seasonal produce (mid-summer, late summer, and fall) includes spinach, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, chard, and more. Cut flowers will also be available. We accept a few forms of Food Assistance benefits please use the button below to learn more about shopping with your benefits!

Skill Shares: Learn Outdoors This Summer, Wednesdays June 26th-October,  5:30pm-6:30pm 

Join PCF and the Community outdoors at the Partridge Creek Intergenerational Farm this summer for FREE Skill Shares. All ages are welcome to join. Skill Shares will focus on a variety of topics and skills all centered around health and wellbeing led by a community member. 

The first Skill Share is scheduled for June 26th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and will be led by Keia Lewis of Botanica Quetzalli. Botánica Quetzalli is a Chicana-Indigenous owned business located in Marquette, Michigan that strives to create unique products and healing services that will benefit the community and beyond.This Skill Share will be focused around the many uses of herbs and plants in your garden. Weekly Volunteer Days: Thursdays, June 26th-November, 2pm-4pm

Beginning June 27th, Partridge Creek Farm invites volunteers of all ages to join them every Thursday from June 27th-Nov. from 2pm to 4pm at the Intergenerational Farm. Experience hands-on farming activities, enjoy being outdoors, and contribute to sustainable agriculture practices that benefit the community.

Community members are invited to join as many or as few volunteer days as they are able. PCF asks that all volunteers dress appropriately for the weather, wear closed toed shoes, and bring a water bottle to volunteer days.
