Registration For The 2025 Farm-to-School Summer Camp Is Now Open!
Partridge Creek Farm in partnership with Marquette Alger RESA is thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 Farm to School Summer Camp. Parents and guardians of youth are invited to fill out the application. This immersive, hands-on learning experience is designed for students who have completed 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in Marquette County during the 2024-2025 school year.
The Farm to School Summer Camp aims to inspire youth to make informed, healthy food choices while fostering an appreciation for sustainable agriculture. Throughout the week-long sessions, participants will engage in gardening activities, cooking lessons, food-based art projects, and physical movement exercises. All sessions will take place at the Partridge Creek Community Gardens and Community Farm in Ishpeming. The 2025 Farm to School Summer Camp was made possible by the Superior Health Foundation.
Application Timeline
April 1: Application opens
May 2: Application closes
May 16: Acceptance notices sent out via email with registration link.
May 30: Registration deadline for ALL sessions.
Choose From 3 Sessions
Summer Camp will be offered once a month, Monday-Thursday, for the following months. Students may apply for as many sessions as they’d like.
June 23-26, 1-4 PM daily
July 21-24, 1-4 PM daily
August 11-14, 1-4 PM daily
Additional Information
Students who have completed 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade in Marquette County during the 2024-2025 school year are eligible to apply.
The cost of Farm to School Summer camp is $150/child/session. Scholarships covering 100% of the cost for a single session will be available to students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. There are a limited number of scholarships available each session. Please indicate on the application if you would like to be considered for a scholarship. Limit one scholarship per child per year.
