2026 Marquette Alger-RESA Student Workers Help Support a Successful Growing Season at Partridge Creek Farm

2026 Marquette Alger RESA staff, students, and PCF staff eat lunch together at the Community Farm.

For a total of 8 weeks during the 2026 growing season, the PCF team welcomed a group of 3 Marquette Alger RESA Transition program students to PCF’s sites. During their time with us they helped with a variety of farm and garden maintenance activities. With their help, our team was able to paint beds at the Community Garden Site, weed and remove dead fruit trees, prepare for the Farm Stand, amongst other garden/farm maintenance tasks.

Their hard work has greatly supported Partridge Creek Farm’s growing season. They helped our team maintain sites which ultimately led to successful food production for the Ishpeming community.
