Partridge Creek Farm thanks Dave Holli of Holli Forest Products for donating a truckload of mulch for our Middle School Garden. This exciting delivery happened during a Farm-to-School class while students were in the garden! Our students and staff and thrilled to accept this donation. These wood chips will be used for education purposes and will provide a weed barrier within the site.

Fungi Perfecti donated mushroom kits to our Farm-to-School program, which makes for a very exciting lesson for students to learn how mushrooms and fungi are grown! Thank you Fungi Perfecti for providing our students with learning experience, we greatly appreciate it!

How These Donations Will Be Used For Education

These donations were perfectly timed! Our Education Coordinator Keats Dormont led a lesson with 5th and 6th grade students where they inoculated the donated mulch with mushroom spores! Our students will get to watch how mushrooms grow in real time!
