Volunteers Help Prepare the Jasperlite Community Garden For the 2025 Growing Season
Volunteer planting transplants in the Jasperlite Community Garden
In the last week of May, United Presbyterian members and members of the Superior String Alliance joined PCF Farm Manager, Allison Stawara, in the Jasperlite Community Garden to prepare the site for the growing season.
Volunteers generously helped plant a variety of vegetables in 8 garden beds at the site. PCF is grateful for volunteers hard work and willingness to get their hands dirty.
The Jasperlite Community Garden
The Jasperlite Community Garden is located directly behind the Jasperlite Senior Housing Center in downtown Ishpeming. Which, also happens to be where the Partridge Creek Community Farm sits.
Jasperlite residents are invited to rent a bed and visit the site while PCF Farm staff will steward the site throughout the growing season. The Jasperlite Community Garden serves as an intergenerational space.
