2025 Power of Produce Program is Back | July 12th-August 30th
The 2025 Power of Produce Program is back at the Downtown Marquette Farmers Market led by Partridge Creek Farm! Power of Produce is a farmers market program aimed at connecting youth with local food and farmers through fun and engaging activities.
2025 Power of Produce will take place in the orange tent near the commons on Saturdays at the Marquette Farmers Market (112 S. Third St Marquette MI), 9AM-1PM from July 12th-August 30th.
The 2025 Power of Produce Program was made possible by the support of the Superior Health Foundation.
How to Participate
There is no sign-up necessary, youth between the ages of 2-12 are welcome to stop by the POP tent to participate in the weekly activity. POP participants receive a $5 voucher each week of participation to spend on produce of their choice at the market. These vouchers also serve to empower kids, by giving them the purchasing power to buy from farmers and local vendors at the market.

July 26 | Seed Bombs! Learn about pollinators and make a clay seed bomb
August 2 | Nutrient Hunt: Learn how our bodies use different foods and find those foods around the market
August 9 | Smoothie Tasting: Try and make a delicious fruit smoothie!
August 16 | My Plate Meal: Taste a dish and make it a meal
August 23 | Interview the Farmers: Ask our farmers about their favorite crops
August 30 | Guess that Veggie! Can you guess the veggie in the box?
