Great Lakes Recovery Center Youth Volunteer With Partridge Creek Farm

For four weeks in August 2025 6 Great Lakes Recovery Center youth joined Partridge Creek Farm’s Education Coordinator Keats Dormont in the Ishpeming Middle School Garden. These 6 youth volunteers helped with a variety of projects on the site!

Volunteer Activities Accomplished

Throughout the volunteer experience Education Coordinator Keats took the time to teach these volunteers important gardening techniques like how to use specific tools to help them in their volunteer activities.

During these 4 weeks these youth volunteers helped PCF prepare for planting and constructing a brand new greenhouse on the site! PCF is grateful for their hard work!
