Meet Fran Community Garden Member | Giving Tuesday 2024

Ishpeming resident Fran joined the PCF Community Garden as a member this growing season, though she was already connected to PCF through workshops and our CSA produce subscription. During the season, we had a chance to catch up with Fran in the garden to hear about her experiences as a new member.

Our Community Garden members report learning new gardening techniques to building lasting friendships. After speaking with Fran, it was clear her first season was especially meaningful. She not only learned new recipes and gardening skills but also made new friends and grew more confident in her gardening abilities.
