Meet Danielle, Community Food Access Manager | Giving Tuesday 2024

Danielle Sidor serves as PCF’s Community Food Access and Community Garden Manager, bringing years of farming and gardening experience to her role since joining in 2023. Now in her second season with PCF, Danielle manages the Community Garden, overseeing, planning and operations for the site and supporting its 24 community members.

Over these past two seasons, Danielle has watched members experience the joys of growing for the first time, develop new skills, and forge meaningful relationships, transforming the garden into a true community. She finds great fulfillment in seeing this space thrive and evolve as members cultivate both crops and connections.

Support PCF in Purchasing The Community Garden This Giving Tuesday

This Giving Tuesday

Partridge Creek Farm is calling for our community’s support in purchasing the Community Garden Site for its 24 members. Currently this land is being leased to us, so we are not at risk of losing this site.

However, with your help this Giving Tuesday we can secure this land, continue to steward it for years and generations to come, ensuring food access to the Ishpeming community.

Doesn’t PCF Have Plenty Of Grant Funding For This Purchase?

Non-Profits & Grant Funding

Non-profits receive grants that often come with restricted funds, meaning dollars must be used for a specific, pre-defined purpose. Partridge Creek Farm has received grants to help fund the build out of the Intergenerational Farm as well as our Farm to School programming.

We are lacking funding for our community garden spaces, so we are turning to you, our community, to help us secure this as a long term space.
