Partridge Creek Farm Announces They Will Begin Accepting WIC Benefits at Their Wednesday Farm Stand
PCF is pleased to announce that they will now be accepting WIC (Women Infant Children Benefits) benefits at their Wednesday evening West End Farm Stand. Located at the Partridge Creek Community Farm (550 Cleveland Ave, Ishpeming, MI), the Farm Stand offers a variety of seasonal produce from June-October 21st and is open on Wednesdays from 4:30PM-6:30PM. All members of the community are invited to shop using various food assistance benefits, including SNAP/EBT, Food as Medicine, Fresh Food Access, Senior Project Fresh, and WIC. By accepting food assistance benefits, Partridge Creek Farm aims to continue reaching more members of their community, connecting them with access to fresh, affordable, and nutritious food right in Ishpeming.
“Making food accessible to all members of our community is the goal of our organization. Accepting WIC will be great in reaching even more of our community who are facing food insecurity”, said Sarah Hayward PCF’s Food Access Manager. Partridge Creek Farm is thrilled to accept a variety of food assistance benefits to help connect the community with their food and one another
